Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and solutions driven Credit Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the Head Mortgage Broker by being responsible for assessing clients' financial situations, researching appropriate mortgage products, evaluating loan applications, and ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are met to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysing and assessing client financial information, researching, and recommending appropriate lending products.
* Managing the finance application process, including property valuation, calculating serviceability, submitting and following up on the status of applications.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients and lenders and liaising with all parties throughout the application process.
* Managing client files and ensuring all documentation is compliant, accurate and up to date.
* Continuously keeping up to date on of mortgage products, industry trends, and compliance regulations.
* Dedicated to post-settlement client support and retention.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or Lending Professional in Home Loan products - minimum 3-5 years.
* Strong understanding of financial principles, lending products, and regulatory requirements.
* An understanding of SMSF lending would be advantageous.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, loan processing CRMs).
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance.
