The role is based at Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport, a new dual‐branded property opened on 1 July 2024, located just steps from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport.
Responsibilities
* Greeting our guests with a beaming smile and a warm attitude to make them feel welcome and recognised.
* Master our products like a pro and find those golden chances to super‐size those sales!
* Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when making recommendations.
* Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests.
* Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
* Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
* Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises.
Qualifications
* Your mission is to inject some good vibes and customer love into everything you do, all while aiming to make customers jump for joy with our top‐notch service!
* A go‐getter always on the lookout for new ways to enhance our guests' journey.
* Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
* Confident in managing both internal and external clients using your expertise.
* A high standard of grooming and presentation.
* The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings (5am), late evenings and on weekends.
* Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate – Victoria.
