As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimizing resource allocation for our helicopter fleet.
* Coordinate with Fleet Specialists and Component Shop: Collaborate to ensure all required parts and inspections are organized for upcoming jobs.
* Develop Standard Parts Lists: Create and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
* Order and Manage Spare Parts: Place orders for necessary parts from stores, ensuring timely availability, and maintain consistent communication with the Stores section to address potential supply delays.
* Provide Critical Fleet Information: Regularly supply the Maintenance Controller with fleet reports, updates on upcoming maintenance activities, including potential supply delays and current in-work maintenance activities.
* Monitor Aircraft Components: Track the availability and compliance of aircraft components.
* Prioritization and Scheduling: Assess maintenance needs and effectively schedule work orders to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
* Resource Management: Coordinating available personnel, tools, and spare parts to ensure maintenance tasks can be completed efficiently.
* Data Analysis: Monitor maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
* Current driver's license valid for use in the work location.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an aviation security clearance.
* Aviation Maintenance Knowledge and Expertise.
* Solid understanding of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives.
* Technical Background.
* Previous experience as an aircraft or helicopter technician or engineer.
* Familiarity with helicopter systems, components, and their maintenance cycles.
* Planning and Scheduling Skills.
* Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an aviation or similar technical environment.
* Knowledge of maintenance resource management, including tools, materials, and manpower.
* Software Proficiency.
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul software.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Project.
* Regulatory Compliance Knowledge.
* Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards.
