Where You'll Be Working
Concord Repatriation General Hospital is a leading tertiary‐referral teaching hospital and part of the Sydney Local Health District. It offers a new cancer centre, a satellite pharmacy and a modern, integrated electronic prescribing system.
The Cancer Services Pharmacy is a fast‐paced production unit that operates under the Pharmacy Department alongside Investigational Drugs (Clinical Trials) and Mental Health. This unit supports the preparation of chemotherapy and advanced therapeutics for hospital patients.
What You'll Be Doing
Pharmacy Technicians provide technical support across all areas of pharmacy practice: dispensing, production, distribution, and clinical activities. You will assist in the Main Dispensary, Cancer Services, Aseptic Production and Mental Health. In Cancer Services, you will play a critical role in preparing chemotherapy and advanced therapeutics.
Ideal Candidate
* Completion of a Certificate III (Grade 1) or Certificate IV (Grade 2) in Hospital/Health Pharmacy Support, or an equivalent qualification, preferably with competency in aseptic compounding or sterile manufacturing, or experience in cleanroom environments.
* Demonstrated high level of attention to fine details and accuracy at work.
* Proven ability to work independently and productively in a team environment.
