About The Role
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Mackay Region team on a part‐time basis (minimum 3 days per week, with the option for extra hours). Rostered shifts are 7.6 hours Monday to Friday, with no weekend or late working shifts. The role involves supporting inpatient and outpatient care across two Mackay practices on a rotating roster.
Responsibilities
* Provide delegated care to inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of registered nurses.
* Follow patient‐centred care plans and adhere to local policies and guidelines.
* Participate in on‐the‐job training, with comprehensive support provided.
* Assist with routine clinical tasks, including peripheral intravenous cannulation when required.
* Maintain accurate documentation and cooperate within a multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA, without restrictions.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
* Basic Life Support certification.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for delivering excellent patient care and customer service.
* Caring, compassionate and collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Peripheral intravenous cannulation skills are an advantage, but not mandatory.
