OverviewAs the Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the transportation, inventory, and distribution aspects of the SSTOM project. You will ensure the timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and resources to support project operations while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and ensuring workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records for materials, equipment, and supplies.Implement efficient inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.Conduct pre-dispatch checks of materials from the warehouse before delivery to site.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.Coordinate pick and pack processes and outbound logistics.Monitor and manage loading and unloading of trucks and containers.Logistics & TransportationCoordinate transportation of materials and equipment to and from the project site.Liaise with drivers and logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and transportation providers to schedule and track shipments.Ensure compliance with traffic laws, COR (Chain of Responsibility), and Dangerous Goods regulations.Apply knowledge of cranage, forklift operations, and outbound processes to ensure safe handling.Documentation & CompliancePrepare and manage accurate documentation including Packing Lists, Invoices, Delivery Notes, Issuance Vouchers, Swims, Bill of Lading (BoL), and Manifests.Ensure compliance with local and international logistics and customs regulations.Maintain records and generate regular reports on logistics performance and efficiency.Health & SafetyAdhere to H&E requirements and ensure appropriate use of PPE.Act as a point of contact for warehouse safety and emergency preparedness.Hold and apply valid First Aid and Fire Warden certificates.Systems & TechnologyUse ERP systems (preferably SAP) to manage logistics and inventory.Utilize Excel and Outlook at a competent level to track and report activities.Employ transportation management systems to optimize routes and manage logistics costs.Qualifications, Experience, and SkillsAdvantage to haveValid Forklift License and Driving License.Valid First Aid Certificate, Fire Warden Certificate, and Dangerous Goods Certification.Proven experience in logistics coordination or warehouse environment (minimum 3 years).Minimum RequirementUnderstanding of COR regulations and traffic laws.Knowledge of cranage, container operations, and outbound logistics.Familiarity with logistics documentation and processes.Experience in pick and pack, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).Key CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Proactive and reliable work ethic.Effective communication with internal teams and external logistics partners.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple logistics tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and logistics challenges.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for logistics optimization.What’s next?If you would like to join our team align with the criteria required for the role, we encourage you to submit your CV by clicking 'Apply'.Interested to learn more about Parklife Metro JV?
