Eligibility : Open to Everyone Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Northern Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health – Salisbury Salary : $125,183 - $130,779 plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – RN/M3 – Ongoing Full-Time About the Role: We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Nurse Manager within Northern Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health in NALHN.
This role provides a chance for professional growth in a supportive and inclusive environment working alongside a second Nurse Manager and other AHA and medical facilitator team members.
At this level, you will use your clinical expertise to support Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Nursing Directors across a range of areas, including (but not limited to): Staffing methodologies Recruitment and selection Human resource management Financial administration Patient flow and bed/resource management Accreditation and risk management processes Information systems management You will be accountable for nursing/midwifery management outcomes, addressing gaps between practice and policy, and fostering a safe, positive workplace culture to achieve optimal patient and client outcomes.
Accountability extends to your specific span of control or allocated portfolio.
Practice models for this role may include: Providing management support to designated wards, units, programs, or services Managing specific work portfolios Coordinating projects, programs, or research to improve patient/client outcomes and service delivery Delivering after-hours oversight of the health service, including staff allocation, operational management of patient/client flow and access, professional responsibility for nursing and midwifery staff, staffing skill mix, work health and safety, and significant event management in consultation with the executive on call About You: Are you a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Nurse Manager looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, growing healthcare network where you will be part of a supportive team delivering high quality care to the community?
