Buyer – Turnaround - SAP Essential
A fixed-term opportunity is available for an experienced Buyer to support a major Turnaround scheduled for mid-2026. Based in Perth, this role will run for up to 8 months and is focused on ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for a large process facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Reviews and processes purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies
* Sources and evaluates supplier quotations, negotiates pricing and terms
* Issues purchase orders across a range of categories, including:
* Spare parts and consumables
* Capital equipment
* Consultancy and trade services
* Rental and lease agreements
* Prepares accurate and professional procurement documentation
* Collaborates with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and align procurement with project timelines
* Supports invoice resolution and vendor payment processes
* Utilizes SAP MM to manage procurement workflows and maintain order status
Candidate Profile
Required:
* Experience in purchasing or procurement
* Proficiency in SAP MM
* Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Preferred:
* Familiarity with supply chain processes
* Industry experience in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments
* Basic understanding of ERP systems and accounting workflows
