Position Profile
* Leads themultidisciplinary team to provide specialist Geriatric medicineservices to patients.
* Promotes patient safetyand quality of care. Provides leadership, orientation,training, supervision and education, where relevant, fordoctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners andother health workers.
* In collaboration withthe Head of Department of Geriatric Medicine and otherConsultants works to achieve national, state and EMHSperformance standards and targets.
* Works within the scopeof clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHSArea Medical Credentialing Committee.
