Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation producing 12 million tonnes of coal per annum and is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join the Planning & Reliability team on site at the western edge of the Bowen Basin. The role reports to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent and offers variety and opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Developing, maintaining and providing clearly structured plans and deliverables for implementation through the execution team
* Scheduling heavy mobile plant works, including sourcing labour requirements
* Ensuring plans meet availability requirements
* Ensuring work is executed within monthly budget structures
* Management of the mobile maintenance budget and forecasting process which supports the effective cost management of the Maintenance department
* Promoting innovation and operational enhancements to achieve high performance outcomes
* Driving performance, safety and productivity of relevant plant and equipment through process improvement
* Engaging with maintenance personnel and key stakeholders to ensure a 'hands‐on' approach towards the planning of maintenance workloads
Qualifications
* Mechanical/Electrical Trade Qualification
* 5 years' experience in maintenance planning
* Strong communication skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Significant experience in computerised maintenance systems (SAP)
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Project
* QLD Drivers Licence

Clermont is only one and a quarter hour drive from Emerald, three-and‐half hour drive from Mackay and a five-hour drive from Townsville.
