We are seeking a dedicated and talented Associate (3-5 years' PQE) to join our Melbourne Corporate Advisory team on a full-time basis.
Salary range: $140,000 to $170,000 (inclusive of superannuation)

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Associate (3-5 years' PQE) to join our Melbourne Corporate Advisory team on a full-time basis. You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including M&A transactions, corporate structuring, governance, regulatory compliance, and general advisory work for private and listed clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Advising on corporate governance, directors' duties, and regulatory obligations
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and transaction documents
* Supporting M&A transactions from due diligence through to completion
* Providing strategic advice to clients across diverse industries
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Between 3-5 years' PQE in a reputable corporate or commercial practice. Strong in‐house experience will also be considered
* Strong drafting skills and analytical skills with an ability to translate complex issues into clear, practical advice
* Ability to manage competing deadlines and work autonomously when required
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* Interest in developing long‐term client relationships
