Job Description
* Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes effectively and on time.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate general ledger records.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
* Provide financial insights and advice to internal stakeholders.
* Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax reporting requirements.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
The Successful ApplicantA Successful Financial Accountant Should Have
* A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Professional membership or progress towards CPA or CA accreditation.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting standards.
* Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
* A team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
