The Category Development Executive plays a pivotal role within the Category & Shopper Marketing team, responsible for driving greater understanding of categories dynamics and shaping data/insights into category strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Lead category insights, strategies & growth drivers, new product development, reviews, and execution in assigned categories.
* Presents range reviews and category engagements with customers: including Category Strategies, Range Recommendations, and Planograms implementation.
* Leads/drives internal commercial forums and supports business planning process/projects.
* Accelerates the growth vectors across Emerging Channels (Costco, Aldi, Amazon, etc).
Requirements:
3+ years of FMCG industry experience in sales, trade marketing or category, preferably Category or Insights roles.
Previous experience using scan and shopper data including IRI, Nielsen & Quantium data.
Proven experience interpreting and analysing multiple data sources to provide actionable insights and communicate effectively.
Ability to manage through ambiguity and change.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
