We're searching for a motivated Business Development Manager who wants to take their experience to the next level in freight, transport, logistics and warehousing. If you've been working in domestic transport, warehousing, 3PL, or supply chain and are ready to step into a more global, high‑impact environment this opportunity is for you.
Base pay range
A$110,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr

What you'll do
* Build, manage, and maintain a pipeline of new business across global forwarding
* Leverage your transport/logistics experience to identify real client needs
* Identify emerging market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
* Lead meetings and solution‑focused presentations with prospective clients
* Promote forwarding services and tailor offerings to customer objectives
* Prepare contracts while ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines
* Maintain accurate sales, revenue, and client records
* Provide outstanding after‑sales support to build client loyalty
* Develop long‑term relationships with new and existing customers
* Support the growth and mentoring of junior sales team members
* Drive new business across freight, transport, warehousing, and broader logistics
What you need
* 3+ years' experience in transport, logistics, or freight (domestic or international)
* Solid understanding of supply chain processes and customer operations
* Interest in transitioning into or growing within global freight forwarding
* Experience with CargoWise is advantageous
* Proficiency in MS Office + CRM systems (Salesforce / HubSpot)
* Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly and present solutions confidently
