We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our organisation. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive prompt and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Nursing Triage: Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage to identify patients who require urgent care.
* Emergency Response: Act promptly to escalate cases requiring emergency intervention or those showing signs of deterioration.
* Procedural Work: Perform tasks such as suturing and plastering with precision and care.
* Patient-Centred Care: Deliver high-quality care that prioritises patient comfort and well-being in collaboration with medical practitioners.
Requirements
* AHPRA Registration: Possess AHPRA registration as a registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care settings.
* Triage Experience: Preference given to candidates with previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU.
* Health Deterioration: Demonstrate the ability to assess and recognise health deterioration, escalating situations appropriately.
