About the Role
Join us as a Geographic Information System (GIS) Consultant. We are looking for a talented professional with a passion for spatial data and environmental science to help us deliver innovative GIS solutions to our clients. As a GIS Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing GIS projects across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver GIS expertise across projects in ecology, contaminated lands, environmental planning, mining, and geotechnical engineering
* Prepare technical reports, maps, spatial analysis, and data management scripts
* Manage small projects or discrete work packages, ensuring quality, scope, and alignment
* Support proposal preparation, costing, and coordination
* Monitor project risks and maintain high standards of compliance and safety
Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or a related field and 2–5 years of experience working with GIS software and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.
They should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, be proficient in commercial and contractual project aspects, and have experience in proposal writing and business systems.
