About the role
Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will support the HR function on site, including administration of the employee life cycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance management, off‐boarding and compliance.
You will also ensure payroll enquiries are managed in a timely manner with the Site Administrators and assist the HR Superintendent in developing and documenting processes, tools, forms, process maps, policies and guidelines to improve HR efficiencies.
Other duties may be assigned by the HR Superintendent and the Project Manager.
About you
* 2–3 years of Human Resources experience.
* Excellent customer service and support skills with an understanding of delivering timely and accurate advice.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams).
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Demonstrated organisational skills, ability to set priorities, manage time, plan work to meet deadlines.
* Strong team player with the ability to exercise independence and judgement.
* Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and resolve issues positively.
* Champion the organisation's vision and values through example, professional behaviour and high standards of work.
* Must hold a current Standard 11 licence, current Coal Board Medical and be willing to undertake a pre‐employment medical.
