About the Role
* Provide governance and oversight of manufacturing processes, ensuring safe systems of work and quality control.
* Act as interface between production and engineering teams, interpreting and advising on technical documentation and design changes.
* Deliver expert input into design-for-manufacture and product safety strategies.
* Drive the introduction of new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement by optimising quality, reducing cost and waste, and resolving technical or process issues.
* Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical capability and best practice.
About You
* You will have extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes in a commercial environment.
* Degree level qualifications in an engineering discipline are essential.
* You will require significant experience within a production engineering capacity, with expertise in manufacturing processes and systems.
* You should understand governance, compliance, and integration processes.
