The primary objective of this role is to spearhead strategic growth and expansion within key agronomic sectors. As the Head of Field Services, you will be responsible for driving profitability by developing and implementing effective strategies to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive plans to expand our presence in broadacre, horticulture, and pasture advice markets
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with key clients across our network and foster ongoing engagement
* Drive revenue growth through sales and fee-for-service initiatives
* Embody a safety leadership culture and ensure compliance across all team segments
* Foster a high-performing team, focusing on retention rates and developing internal leaders and technical experts
Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise in managing high-performing teams and leading multi-layered structures
* Extensive experience in technical agronomy, preferably with exposure to broadacre and/or horticultural markets
* A commitment to continuous learning to maintain knowledge of industry innovations and emerging trends
* Proven ability to drive business growth through strategic planning, development, and execution skills
* Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills, collaborating effectively with customers, internal partners, and executive leadership
* Solid commercial acumen and understanding of modern value drivers in the agricultural market
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across the entire organization
