About the Role
As a Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting hands‐on training across our mechanical, industrial, chemical and scientific areas. You'll work closely with lecturers and team members to make sure equipment, materials and learning spaces are safe, organised and ready for student use.
What You'll Be Doing
* Set up, maintain and manage equipment and teaching materials for practical training
* Deliver resources across campus and use specialist equipment (including forklifts where required)
* Keep work areas clean, safe and well maintained in line with WHS requirements
* Track and store equipment to minimise loss and damage
* Assist with electrical tagging, testing and compliance checks
* Support workshops and practical sessions to ensure safe student learning environments
* Maintain and clean specialised equipment, including healthcare training equipment
Working with the Team
* Collaborate with lecturers, technicians and staff across campus
* Support planning, procurement and reporting activities
* Contribute to continuous improvement and team initiatives
