Job Role: Logistics Driver
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of consignments to our customers.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for loading and restraining your vehicle each day, completing regular safety checks, and using a scanner or completing paperwork as necessary.
In addition, you will participate in regular safety meetings and incident investigations, and comply with all legislated road laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Consignments Safely: Ensure that all deliveries are made safely and without damage.
* Loading and Restraint: Load your vehicle and restrain your load each day.
* Safety Vehicle Checks: Complete regular safety checks on your vehicle.
* Administrative Tasks: Use a scanner or complete paperwork as necessary.
* Participate in Safety Meetings: Participate in regular safety meetings and incident investigations.
* Compliance: Comply with all legislated road laws and regulations.
