Technical Business Analyst - Master Data Management
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Migration to join a multi-year HR and Payroll transformation program.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and implement MDM concepts, principles and best practices on large transformation programs with complex data sets.
* Assess data quality, perform data profiling, and define validation rules to improve data accuracy and consistency.
* Support data governance frameworks and ensure data quality across MDM initiatives and related systems (e.g., HR/Payroll).
* Collaborate on testing and validation of MDM business rules to meet business requirements and data standards.
* Assist with data migration activities as part of the transformation program.
* Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Qualifications
* 5+ years as a Technical Data Analyst working on large transformation programs with complex data sets.
* Strong understanding of MDM concepts, principles and best practices.
* Experience with MDM tools and technologies; knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
* Ability to analyse complex data sets, identify data quality issues, and derive validation rules to improve data accuracy and consistency.
* Proficiency in data profiling and data quality assessment.
* Strong understanding of testing and validation of MDM business rules to ensure they meet business requirements and data standards.
* Any exposure to HCM, Payroll, SAP, HANA projects would be highly beneficial.
Contract & Location
* 2 year Fixed Term Contract to start ASAP.
* East Melbourne location; interview and start ASAP.
* 2 days work-from-home; flexibility may increase with tenure.
* Get in early on a complex transformation program that runs until 2030.
