Court Support Officer Job Description
Our Court Support Officers play a vital role in our service, providing essential support to clients and Legal Practitioners across Queensland. The role is crucial in ensuring that clients receive the necessary assistance to navigate the criminal justice system.
Job Responsibilities:
* Aid clients prepare for Court by providing guidance and support in Criminal Law matters;
* Assist with paperwork, legal forms, and court documents;
* Communicate effectively between Legal Practitioners and clients;
* Drive company vehicles, sometimes to remote locations, to assist Legal Practitioners and clients;
* Contribute to our 24/7 after-hours on-call service by roster;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Be a steady driver and have reliable transportation;
* Have computer skills and be proficient in using software applications;
* Have a strong understanding of client rights and the importance of seeking justice;
* Be a good role model to community members;
* Have a current Queensland Government Blue Card and a National Police Criminal Record check prior to commencing work;
