Majella is a warm, community-focused 85-place Long Day Care service, open from 6:30am to 6:00pm, with a brand-new playground and strong connections with families.
As Centre Director, you'll inspire a dedicated team, oversee daily operations and drive high-quality early learning programs where every child feels safe, supported and excited to learn. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
* Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
* Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
* Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Job Requirements
* Diploma and/or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent in compliance with ACECQA guidelines
* Previous experience in childcare service management
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
* Current child protection training
* Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor of the service
* Strong understanding of early childhood legislation, including the NQF, NQS, EYLF, and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
* Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
* Proven leadership skills to develop a team of staff
