Opportunity
As the Senior Stores Person, you will demonstrate day‐to‐day activities and productivity of the team, ensuring efficient inventory management and order processing. You'll be a key player in supporting the stores team by providing guidance and training and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full‐time position reporting to the Stores Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrate and mentor the stores team
* Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Monitor stock levels and conduct regular cyclic counts and stocktakes
* Ensure accuracy in receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
* Handle order processing from placement to picking and packing
* Address customer inquiries and resolve team conflicts
Qualifications
* Strong background in warehousing and leadership
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently
* Strong problem‐solving skills
* Knowledge of inventory management principles and software
* Valid forklift licence
* Physical fitness and ability to lift 15‐20kg
* Experience with MRP & ERP systems is essential; an HR licence is a plus
