We are seeking a detail-focused and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our Manufacturing team based in Hope Valley, WA.
This is a hands‐on role where you'll sit at the centre of operations, ensuring materials are ordered accurately, delivered on time and production continues without disruption. You'll work closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers and subcontractors, where accuracy, organization and follow-through are critical to success.

What You'll Be Doing
* Raise purchase orders and work orders to support manufacturing operations
* Review plans and drawings to determine material requirements
* Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure materials are available when required
* Issue orders, plans and specifications to suppliers and subcontractors
* Expedite materials and proactively resolve supply issues that may impact production
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services
* Work closely with manufacturing and operational teams to ensure production requirements are metMaintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within Oracle
* Monitor supplier performance, pricing and lead times
* Assist with month‐end activities, including stocktake support
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and inventory processes
What You'll Bring
* Previous purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience within manufacturing, construction or a similar environment
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings to determine material requirements
* Strong Excel skills, including reporting, analysis and data management
* Experience using ERP systems, with Oracle experience highly regarded
* High attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident communication skills and ability to build strong supplier relationships
* Positive attitude with a proactive and solutions‐focused approach
