The Role
Based in Coffs Harbour, you'll work closely with a small, experienced team delivering a wide range of projects across the Mid North Coast. With a strong pipeline of work and established client relationships, you'll take the lead on projects from concept through to construction, while also contributing to ongoing growth of the office. This role suits someone looking to step into a client‐facing position with real autonomy and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structural projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education and community
* Work directly with clients – coordination, meetings and site involvement
* Manage project delivery including scope, programme and budget
* Mentor and support junior engineers
* Contribute to proposals and business development
* Work collaboratively with the broader Northrop team across disciplines
Candidate
* Proven experience working as a structural engineering consultant in the Australian market.
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
* Knowledge of ETABS, RC Building, RAPT, SpaceGass highly valued.
* Delivering projects across various types of structures within the residential / health / education / commercial / industrial sectors.
* Accountability to set goals and drive to their fulfilment – someone who can keep the team motivated and moving!
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional groups.
* Familiar with financial management of projects internally is highly valued.
