Job Description
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check‐in procedures.
* Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
* Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
* Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
* Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
* Optional training as a contact centre agent to assist as required, including answering phone calls promptly, handling inquiries professionally, and booking appointments across our four Canberra clinics.
Qualifications
* Clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
* Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
* A strong background in customer service.
* Ability to rotate across the four clinics in Canberra: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong.
