We're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join the facilities & maintenance operations for a major integrated resort in Perth for 6 months. This role is responsible for reactive and/or preventative maintenance across a large, multi-building hotel complex, ensuring the property remains in pristine condition and operates at peak efficiency.
You'll coordinate a diverse team of internal and external trades, contractors, and technicians, driving high standards of safety, reliability, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily reactive and preventative maintenance programs across hotel, accommodation, and public areas.
* Lead and schedule a large team of trades and service providers.
* Oversee building services, plant, and asset performance to ensure maximum uptime.
* Develop and manage maintenance budgets, contracts, and reporting systems.
* Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
* Collaborate with hotel operations and guest services teams to minimise disruption and uphold brand standards.
About You
* Proven experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Manager within a hotel, resort, or large apartment complex.
* Strong people management skills, with experience leading multiple trades and service teams.
* Sound technical understanding of building services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, BMS).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
A good day rate is on offer commensurate with experience. Monday to Friday hours. Some overtime may be required.
