The role
Join our dedicated team to manage the design, planning and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. You will also manage the development, publication, implementation and compliance of all program/project(s) deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level.
**In addition to this, you will be responsible for**:
- Lead the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of large complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations.
- Manage a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.
- Provide advice and guidance to technical staff regarding issues being experienced in the production environment.
Are you right for this role?
To secure this role you must have demonstrated experience leading the design, publication, implementation, compliance and delivery of technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large scale, complex IM/ICT infrastructure delivery program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry. Additionally, demonstrated experience developing and testing a Java-based message-oriented middleware solution. (SFIA Skill PROG Level 5and SFIA Skill TEST Level 6).
**You will also have extensive experience in the following**:
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and document stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into the business requirement and problems.
- Demonstrated experience designing large or complex integration solutions and providing expert knowledge in relevant design standards, techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of changes for large complex IM/ICT program/project(s).
- Demonstrated excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing, Collaborative working).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team. (NHS: Leading change through people).
