Engineering Geologist / Experienced Engineering Geologist – Geotech & Tunnels team, located in Sydney / Melbourne.
Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct engineering geology projects and deliver analysis and design tasks.
* Deliver engineering geology analysis and design tasks in accordance with technical standards and client requirements.
* Plan and execute projects of moderate complexity, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contributors to coordinate project deliverables.
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and proposals for small to medium‐sized projects.
* Manage project scope, risks, and competing priorities effectively.
* Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the broader team.
* Apply project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to required standard.
* Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related Geo Science discipline.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering geology, ideally within an engineering consultancy.
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and specifications.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Experience preparing technical reports and proposals.
* Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
* Client‐focused mindset and ability to manage expectations effectively.
* Proficiency in relevant software and general computer applications.
* Understanding of organisational capability and ability to leverage internal expertise.
