We are seeking a Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team at RAAF Amberley, SEQLD, supporting the Defence Fuel Network across Australia and contributing directly to the success of a program essential to national defence capability.
Responsibilities
* Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base.
* Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel.
* Deliver fuel to the designated fuel point (e.g., refuelling point or aircraft on the runway).
* Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft.
* Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure a good customer experience.
Qualifications
* MC/HC Driver's Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence (essential).
* Proven experience operating heavy vehicles (essential).
* Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry (highly regarded).
* Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team.
* Current holder of, or ability to obtain, relevant security clearance.
