About the Role
We're seeking a values-driven Speech Pathologist to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. Based in Broome, Derby, or Kununurra, you'll work within a passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team that prioritises collaboration, flexibility, and quality care. You'll support children, adolescents, and adults, delivering therapy that enhances communication, participation, and functional independence in ways that align with each person's goals, culture, and context. Selection will be based on your values, passion, and professional skills, and your commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes for participants and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments
* Develop and implement individualised, goal-focused therapy plans
* Deliver evidence-informed intervention for communication and swallowing needs
* Collaborate with families, carers, educators, and allied health professionals
* Participate in outreach services to remote Kimberley communities (optional and flexible)
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Engage in supervision, team learning, and complex case discussions
What We're Looking For
* Essential: Degree in Speech Pathology
* Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Clearance & NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
* COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses recommended)
