As a Getting Ready for School Group volunteer, you will foster their social, fine motor, and literacy skills under the guidance of occupational therapists and speech pathologists.
This experience is ideal for students of allied health or early education seeking hands-on work with children with cerebral palsy.
Volunteers will be supervised throughout the program and will have opportunities to develop confidence, build new skills, and make meaningful connections within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support therapists in running activities.
* Encourage clients to participate in activities.
* Set up and pack down of activities.
Requirements:
* Age 16 years or above.
* NDIS Worker Screening.
* Working with Children Check (NSW).
