Clinical Nurse Consultant – Practice Improvement Practitioner – CYMHS *******d)
We are seeking Clinical Nurse Consultants – Practice Improvement Practitioners for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). These positions are advertised as Allied Health Professionals and will be filled on a merit basis.

The Role
The Practice Improvement Practitioner is a new role focused on delivering high-quality practice development and education for CYMHS clinicians across existing CYMHS programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist advice in the development, implementation and evaluation of workforce education and training initiatives for CYMHS clinicians.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet education needs, supporting the CYMHS Education and Operational teams and leading education programmes and organisational initiatives.

May require work at multiple locations within Tasmania; interstate travel may be required.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, full-time day-worker position.
Working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Hours of work will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
During the first twelve months, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.
Salary
$114,851 to $121,886 per annum, plus a 12% superannuation contribution.
Allowances & Salary Packaging
Salary beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and the personal upgrade scheme.
Post-graduate allowance up to 10% based on qualification.
Salary package includes living expenses of up to $9,010, meal entertainment of $2,650 per FBT year, and other eligible benefits.

Travel and relocation assistance: up to $15,000 for overseas appointees and $10,000 for interstate.

Locations

Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse with a tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
Current Working with Children Registration.
Current valid registrations/licenses required for the role.
Desirable Requirements
Five or more years postgraduate experience in child and youth mental health or a similar role.
Relevant tertiary qualification in child and youth mental health sector, education, training and assessment.
Current driver's licence.
