Offer description

We are seeking to establish a pool of Network Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As the Network Support Officer, you will maintain the school's Information Technology network to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes, within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework. Suitable applicants will ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies and liaise with Department of Education Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues.

Key Selection Criteria

* Demonstrated knowledge of network systems and platforms relevant to the operating environment.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem‐solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks.
* Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to plan and implement data security procedures.
* Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients.
* Demonstrated practical experience in developing and implementing user‐training procedures.
