We are seeking a casual hospitality worker to join the team with a focus on kitchen hand duties.
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
* Contributing to a clean, comfortable, and homely environment for residents by maintaining all areas of the facility to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Supporting kitchen operations, including basic food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
* Assisting with meal service, such as plating meals, delivering food to residents, and ensuring dining areas are set up and cleared efficiently.
* Assisting with ordering and restocking cleaning, laundry, and household supplies as needed.

To Be Considered For This Role You'll Need
* Minimum 1 year hospitality experience, ideally within a kitchen or food‐service environment.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, including safe food handling and cleaning practices.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
* Reliable and self motivated work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of infection prevention and control in an aged care setting.
* Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records when handling food, cleaning tasks, or stock.
* Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, public holidays, and short notice coverage when required.
