The Recruitment Business Partner plays a critical role in shaping Slater and Gordon's future workforce by delivering proactive, high-quality recruitment and talent solutions across the organisation.
Working in an environment undergoing significant change and transformation, the role requires a true talent partner: someone who thrives on change, builds deep relationships and is energised by creating value beyond process.
This is not a transactional role. You'll consult with leaders to anticipate future workforce needs, identify and pipeline exceptional talent and champion a best-practice approach that aligns with our values and people strategy. With limited automated systems and evolving processes, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape how recruitment is delivered at Slater and Gordon.
What You'll Do
* Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to offer across a diverse portfolio and range of disciplines.
* Craft engaging, targeted job ads and position descriptions that attract the right talent (not just more applicants).
* Proactively identify, engage and nurture pipelines of talent for future and hard-to-fill roles.
* Use AI and digital tools to enhance sourcing, screening and candidate engagement while ensuring ethical and compliant practices.
* Conduct behavioural and technical interviews to identify potential and capability not just experience on paper.
* Provide strategic insights to leaders using recruitment data, market trends and talent mapping.
* Champion Slater and Gordon's employment brand and contribute to building a culture of excellence, collaboration, and inclusion.
About You
You're not a recruiter who waits for roles to land you create opportunities. You're commercially minded, curious and comfortable challenging the status quo to deliver better outcomes for your stakeholders and candidates.
* Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to consult and coach leaders.
* Experience using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Talent Search to attract and manage talent pipelines.
* Exceptional communication and candidate assessment skills, including behavioural interviewing.
* A growth mindset, resilient, adaptable and motivated by continuous improvement and impact.
