Job Title: Poultry Farmer
About the Role:
* We are seeking an experienced Poultry Farmer to join our team.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in livestock production, with experience working with poultry being highly advantageous.
* You will be responsible for planning and organising the growth and production of broiler chickens in a free-range environment.
* Maintaining high levels of farm presentation, adhering to biosecurity procedures, and ensuring compliance with external certification bodies and audit requirements are essential aspects of this role.
* You will work closely with our Farm Manager and Operations Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimise production levels.
* A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
* Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or poultry production are highly regarded.

Selection Criteria:
1. Extensive experience in livestock production with poultry experience being highly advantageous.
2. Good communicator, both written and aural with a sound grasp of the English language.
3. Skills in technology; computers and electronics.
4. Australian citizen or permanent resident an advantage.
5. Must hold a valid driver's licence.
6. Tertiary qualifications in agriculture and/or poultry production are highly regarded.
