About the role TAFE SA is seeking experienced and motivated Senior Project Managers to join our Facilities and Projects team. In this pivotal role, you lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure capital works projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder needs. This includes managing relationships with prospective and existing tenants where there is a need for capital works to ensure optimal outcomes for all parties.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project delivery, including stakeholder consultation, preparation of documentation, contractor engagement, and interpretation of relevant policies and procedures.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining compliance with TAFE SA legislative requirements.

Qualifications

Extensive project management expertise, including planning, development of complex technical design briefs, concept plans, and business case preparation.

Proven ability to lead capital works projects and/or programs from concept to completion, including managing contracts and relationships with external service providers to ensure successful delivery.

Communicate, liaise, consult and negotiate with flexibility and influence to achieve effective outcomes across diverse stakeholders.

Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring and guiding teams across diverse business areas to achieve strategic outcomes.

Relevant qualifications in Building and Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or a related discipline.

Special Conditions A valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
