Overview
Join an exciting project to design a new business intelligence mobile app for enterprise users. As a key contributor on a short-term contract, you will transform initial concepts and rough ideas into polished, production-ready designs. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the design system, including component libraries, typography, and color palette, ensuring consistency and usability across the application. Working closely with experienced founders, you will iterate rapidly, translating feedback into Figma files that are ready for engineering and stakeholder review. This role is ideal for designers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering high-quality solutions for complex, multi-user SaaS products.
Responsibilities
* Develop and refine the initial design system, including component libraries, typography, and color palette
* Design core screens, user flows, and wireframes for the mobile app
* Create and iterate on onboarding, navigation, and admin flows tailored for enterprise users
* Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable design improvements
* Prepare Figma files for seamless handoff to engineering teams
* Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines while allowing for creative evolution
Qualifications
* Proven experience designing B2B or enterprise SaaS products, preferably mobile applications
* Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
* Ability to create and maintain scalable design systems
* Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and user flow mapping
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with founders and stakeholders
* Experience designing for complex user roles and multi-user environments
* Availability for a short-term contract with potential for follow-up work
* Based in Australia or able to work within Australian time zones preferred
