Workshop Supervisor
As the Workshop Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of buses. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Mandurah, Western Australia.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the work of the workshop mechanics to ensure all maintenance and repair tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule
* Liaise with the Operation Manager to plan and prioritise the workflow and allocate resources effectively
* Monitor and report on workshop performance, identifying areas for improvement
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Provide hands‐on technical support and guidance to the workshop team as required
* Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken and parts used
* Assist with the ordering of parts and materials to keep the workshop productive
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar role in the automotive industry, preferably in the bus or commercial vehicle sector
* Strong technical knowledge and hands‐on experience with the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions
* Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
* Diesel fitting trade qualification with a minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience
* Australian work rights are essential for this position
* Previous experience as a supervisor leading a workshop team
