We are seeking a senior medical professional to lead our Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. As the successful candidate, you will provide strategic direction and clinical governance, ensuring outstanding outcomes for women and families.
You will work closely with colleagues across multiple facilities, leading service planning, performance, and quality initiatives that strengthen care and sustainability.
This role combines leadership and clinical practice, offering up to 0.5 FTE clinical time within a three-year appointment. It is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who values teamwork, integrity, and the chance to make a lasting impact on regional women's health.
About the Role
* Provide clinical and strategic leadership for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
* Oversee high-quality, evidence-based care in line with statewide clinical frameworks.
* Lead service planning, workforce management, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain up to 0.5 FTE of clinical practice across obstetrics and gynaecology.
* Promote and participate in education, training, and clinical supervision.
* Contribute to research, innovation, and ongoing service development.
About You
* You hold Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and registration as a Specialist with AHPRA.
* You're an experienced clinician with a record of excellence in obstetric and gynaecological care.
* You bring strong leadership, management, and strategic planning capability.
* You demonstrate commitment to quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practice.
