Job Description
Reporting to the Field Maintenance Execution Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management and safe execution of maintenance activities for our primary dig units, in accordance with the mine safety standards, procedures and defined processes to deliver optimal production outcomes.
This is a permanent opportunity, based at Poitrel Mine on a 7 day's on 7 days off (7&7) dayshift only roster.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing safe compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions & defined processes to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Identifying opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes and systems.
* Improving fleet performance through quality maintenance practices.
* Executing the maintenance plan.
* Liaising with the wider Maintenance team to develop, validate and challenge the scope of work, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements and maintenance activities.
* Liaising with the Planners & Schedulers to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan.
* Liaising with contracting partners for various activities.
* Step up into the supervisor role when required.
Qualifications
About You: Your background in a similar position or environment together with your exceptional communication skills will see you well placed to excel in this role. It is also essential that you demonstrate impeccable safety behavior as well as:
* Previous experience with CAT & excavators as well as CAT 994 Loaders & Hitachi & excavators.
* Demonstrated experience in leading a maintenance team in a frontline leading hand / supervisory capacity.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
* Strong organisation and prioritisation skills including time management.
* Flexible / adaptable work style to be able to work within changing environments and work requirements.
