Design & Build Recruitment is collaborating with a renewable energy developer to expand their grid connection engineering team, focusing on utility‐scale solar and BESS projects throughout Australia.
This is a perfect opportunity for a Power Systems Engineer with a couple of years of experience who is looking to advance their career within a developer environment and gain hands‐on experience with actual renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support grid connection activities across utility‐scale solar and BESS projects
* Assist with power system studies and technical assessments
* Support GPS and connection application processes
* Work closely with AEMO, NSPs, consultants and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to technical documentation and project delivery activities
About You
* 2+ years of experience within the Australian energy market
* Exposure to grid connection or power systems engineering
* Experience using PSCAD and/or PSS E
* Understanding of the NEM and NER frameworks
* Engineering degree qualifications
