Our clientele are generally residential builders of all standards, centered around Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Sydney, Northern Beach, Harbour suburbs and Eastern Suburbs. We do not handle direct enquiries from the general public, they are gently referred back to their own professional builders and designers.

About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a fulltime Estimator/Project Manager. You will be responsible for driving growth and managing successful projects from tender to delivery. The office operates on a flat and open management structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and understanding design drawings
- Developing pricing from enquiries and submitting quotations
- Managing successful tenders and orders
- Addressing telephone and email enquiries
- Reading and understanding engineering and architectural design sheets
- Developing costings of labour and materials for prospective jobs and projects
- Generating purchase orders for job purchases and consumables
About You
- 3-5 years of estimating and project managing experience, preferably in the steel/metalwork industry
- Basic understanding of buildings and construction processes
- Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural design sheets
- Read and develop fabrication drawings for small jobs (hand drawing skills required; larger jobs are externally detailed).
- Familiarity with computer software such as Outlook, spreadsheets, and Word documents
- Full Australian work rights
