Position Overview
Mamre Anglican School is located in the Sydney Science Park. The School is hiring a part‐time (0.8 FTE) Science Laboratory Assistant for terms 2 or 3 2026. Working hours will be 8.00–4.00pm or 7.30–3.30pm, four days per week during school term times.
Directly report to the Head of Science and provide support to the Science Department and students in the maintenance of the Science Laboratory.

Support the Science Department and students in maintaining the Science Laboratory.
Key Selection Criteria
* Relevant science qualifications – Diploma of Applied Science or equivalent (advantage).
* Computer skills – Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.
* Excellent inter‐personnel skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Flexible approach to staff and students.
* Ability to manage changing priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
* Self‐starter with initiative.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Hazardous Substances Risk Assessments and Safety and Data sheets.
