About this Role:
This is a specialized position for professionals with expertise in electronic control systems, diagnostics, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, modification, commissioning, and maintenance of electronic instruments and control systems in industrial environments
* Fault diagnosis through examination, testing, and interpretation of technical data from machines, control panels, and digital systems
* Repair or replacement of defective components, wiring, or subsystems based on test findings and performance issues
* Scheduled servicing, calibration, and functional checks to ensure operational accuracy
* Reassembly and testing of electronic instruments or control systems to confirm proper performance and reliability
* Maintenance of technical documentation and record-keeping of servicing outcomes and diagnostic findings
* Advice on best practices for usage, maintenance, and fault prevention to users and operational staff
* Adherence to safety protocols, system diagrams, and standard procedures to ensure compliance and fault resolution
* Monitoring and adjustment of automated systems including sensors, meters, process controllers, and feedback loops
Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Electronics or Instrumentation, or equivalent trade qualification
* Minimum two years of on-the-job experience, or three years of relevant practical experience if formal qualifications are not held
* Strong knowledge of electronic control systems, circuit diagnostics, and calibration tools
* Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, pressure/flow/temp sensors, and industrial automation
* Ability to read technical schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and fault codes
* Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and safety focus
