Working with world-class product such as Volvo Construction Equipment and Kenworth & DAF Trucks, this busy role provides you with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and build your career. Brand training is provided and with over 21 branches nationally this position can take you places.
You will need to be able to demonstrate advanced diagnostic, technical, and communication skills. Know how to get the job completed on time and support those still learning the art of mechanics (our apprentices). No day is ever the same with a wide variety of work arriving in our workshop daily.
This is a Kalgoorlie based position - residential role
A day on the job will see you:
* Carrying out diagnosing and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner
* Reporting (written) and communication of work conducted
* Following warranty procedures
* Providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
* Commitment to safety in the workplace for you and work colleagues
What you will need:
* Be an All-rounder who is happy to work independently and/or help support our apprentices learn and grow
* Able to write reports and keep daily records of work
* Experience using computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
