Personal Care Assistant Role
We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Mount Gambier. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to older people in our residential care homes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment. They will also possess a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or a higher related qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred care and support to residents with complex needs
* Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming
* Prepare and serve meals and snacks
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months experience working in a similar role
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or a higher related qualification
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
